Miley Cyrus continues to record her new album at Center Staging Studios in Burbank, Calif. on Wednesday.
Momager Tish, wearing a FAITH trucker hat (for Jesus!), accompanied Smiley to the recording session.
The 15-year-old Hannah Montana star dressed casually in a green velour hoodie and navy athletic shorts. As always, Miley flashed her signature peace sign!
P.S. If you are wondering why there are always so many pictures of Miley lately, it&rsquos because the paparazzi love her. Less than six paparazzi were outside Britney Spears&rsquo home over the weekend leading up to her guest-spot on How I Met Your Mother. Meanwhile, there were 30 photogs following Miley.

The tour followed the June 2007 release of Cyrus's double album Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus. The tour began on October 18, 2007 in St. Louis, Missouri and was initially scheduled to end on January 9, 2008 in Albany, New York.[2]
One dollar of each ticket from the tour went to benefit the City of Hope Foundation, which helps in fighting against cancer. [3]
The Jonas Brothers were the opening act for the first part of the tour.
In December, An additional 14 concerts had been added to the tour, beginning in Detroit on January 11 and ending in Miami on January 31. After the Jonas Brothers decided not to continue on the tour, Aly & AJ were chosen as the replacement to be the opening act from January 11 to January 24. [4][5] The opening for the last leg of the tour was Everlife.[citation needed] The last leg of the tour included six dates, ending on January 31 at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida.

Tickets for the Best Of Both Worlds Tour have been selling out for every show,[6] with many shows selling out in just five minutes or less.[7] Many tickets for the shows can then be found almost immediately after purchase on eBay, StubHub, or other secondary markets selling for well over the face value of the tickets.[7] The Arkansas Attorney General's office said, “All hell broke loose with Hannah Montana. The tickets were gone in 12 minutes and when people turned around, they were selling at online sites for sometimes as much as 10 times the face value.”[7] They promised an investigation, as did authorities in Missouri.[8] Some of the tickets were selling for over one thousand dollars.[8]
The shortage of tickets for the Cyrus/Montana tour became so pronounced that it gained national attention, with The New York Times using it and the concurrent Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band Magic Tour as examples of how the general public is losing out on ticket sales and how some ticket brokers have cracked Ticketmaster's defenses to gain a stranglehold on tickets.[7] The Times, The Los Angeles Times and the Houston Chronicle all profiled several families unable to get tickets and balancing the cost of the secondary market against their child's disappointment.[7][8][6] For their part, a Ticketmaster official said, "Hell hath no fury like the parent of a child throwing a tantrum. People who have been in this business for a long time are watching what's happening, and they say there hasn't been a demand of this level or intensity since the Beatles or Elvis."[8] A vice president for tour promoter AEG Live said that, "The tickets are priced and sold as fairly as possible. I can assure you this is no conspiracy. We do everything in our power to stop brokers from getting tickets, but it's impossible."[6]
On November 13, 2007, a lawsuit was filed on behalf of frustrated fan club members unable to get tickets, against MileyWorld (the Miley Cyrus fan club) and its agents.[9] In late November, MileyWorld had a special offer to give MileyWorld members a chance to buy tickets. For the Lexington, Kentucky show, Ticketmaster stated they would sell "will-call" tickets on the date of the concert;[10] such date-of-show "ticket drops" have been a common anti-scalping practice for years on Bruce Springsteen tours. When tickets for the added January itinerary shows went on sale on December 15, patterns repeated; only a few lottery-style winnings at Ticketmaster outlets were able to purchase tickets,[11] while Ticketmaster phone banks were tied up across multiple states and did not provide many buying chances either.[11]

MileyWorld members can join "The Ultimate Miley Party" at the MileyWorld bus two hours before the concert at each venue. Members must bring their membership cards, but members have access to raffles that include winning a signed guitar, getting clothes that Miley wore, getting a tour of the tour bus, and getting 'Meet & Greet' passes. Many of the raffle prizes, however, are posters and temporary tattoos.[12]

• Large Barrel Curling Iron

Steps:

1. Wash your hair and blowdry completely.

2. Part your hair in a zig-zag to the left side of your head.

3. Use a large barrel curling iron and curl medium sized peices of hair. (1-1 1/2 inches)

4. Take one inch pieces from each side of your head and leave them off to the side. Gather some hair from the middle to the back of your head and puff it up just a little. Secure it with a hairclip.

5. Spray your whole head with hairspray and enjoy!

• Flat Iron (Optional)

Steps:

1. Wash your hair and part your hair towards the right. Blow dry it so that it's sleek and straight. If it lands up frizzy or too thick, use a flat iron to get it straight. Make sure you hair isn't too thin.

2. Make a large curl in the front most part of your hair. Spray with hairspray.

3. Use the curling iron to make large waves on the rest of your hair.

4. Tie your hair in a low pony tail. Leave the hair that you made a large curl out of the pony (look at the picture if you are confused).

1. Clean your face

2. Apply any foundation/cover up you need or may need, don't put too much on or else you will look fake!

3. Take an eye shadow brush with the loose hair, mainly used for blending, and put a little bit of soft pink eye shadow on it and spread across each eye, be sure to cover your eyelid the drag the shadow upward towards your eyebrows

4. Use either black pencil liner or black liquid eyeliner and put them on your eyes normally, but make it a little thicker in the far corners of your eye that are on the side of your head.

5. Take your liner and start at the far corner of each eye and draw a line curving upward, this creates the Cat/Egyptian eye. Make sure that it doesn’t look separate from your other eyeliner buy making it connect and have the correct thickness

6. Use some mascara, make sure it's evenly across your lashes and your your lashes go up, not to the side, I suggest using a eyelash curling brush to curl them upward.

7. Apply a rosy pink blush on your cheekbones; make sure it goes from the corner of your eye to the other corner, smile whole doing this to find the position to apply the blush, the thicker area of your cheeks.

8. Use a soft pink lip-gloss or clear gloss and you are complete!

• Curling Iron
• Brush
• Hairspray
• Blow Dryer
• Shampoo
• Conditioner
• Bobby Pins
• Hair Protection Products (Optional)

Steps:

1. Hop in the shower and wash your hair completely.

2. Take your blow dryer and blow dry your hair where it is completely dry.

3. Turn on the curling iron, while you wait you can be brushing your hair.

4. Take the curling iron and begin to curl your hair. Hold it at the ends of your hair for about 20-25 seconds each.

5. Once you’re done curling your hair, take your bangs and part it to the left side of your head.

6. Spray a finishing coat of hairspray around some areas of your hair to keep it in place.

7. Make sure to turn of the curling iron and then you are done! Enjoy.

This acting, singing, dancing sensation took a few minutes to talk to Tribute’s Bonnie Laufer about her busy life and all of the attention she is getting.

I really try with the show and my concerts to let kids and parents know that I really am just a down home girl with good values and work really hard at what I do. Did you ever imagine that when you started "Hannah Montana" that it was going to be as big as it has become? I really didn’t. It’s pretty crazy because it’s a character that I invented and then when we went to Disney with the idea it really just evolved into what it has become. I really got to take the character, invert her and add my own flare to her, so to see all of that happen I think is really cool! It must be so awesome for you to have your dad (Billy Ray Cyrus) along for every step of the way? It’s pretty fantastic that he gets to play your dad on the show. It is really cool actually. A lot of people ask me, isn’t it a pain to have your dad around so much? I say no way, it’s actually the coolest thing because I’m always safe and protected and loved and that’s the best. Plus he is always there to give me advice and help me with this business because he’s been thorough it. I would think having both your parents around so much helps keep you grounded, keep your head right on your shoulders with this whirlwind that is going on with you right now? Yeah, definitely. Too have them and my whole family around to make me feel normal is so important. It is a huge help. I think being back here in Toronto has to bring back some special memories for you. It does. After all, this is the city where it all started for you. Your dad was shooting the TV series "Doc" here and it was then when you were nine years old told him you wanted to act. I lived in Toronto for some of the most important years of my life. You do the most growing when you are about 8 to 12 and those were the years that I was here. I went to middle school and I met so many really cool people, When did you know you wanted to try acting? It was weird because of course my dad always had a music career, but didn’t get into acting until her started doing "Doc." So I guess it wasn’t until I was in that environment that I thought it would be something cool to do. Music had to be a big part of your family life? Oh yeah it was, but I started with a coach here in Toronto. I took singing and acting classes to make myself better because I really wanted to take it seriously and I didn’t want people to think that I was just getting a break because of my dad. Then you get the show, and then spirals into something huge and then you decide you want to take your singing act on the road. Miley- it is the biggest and hottest selling concert tour on the road right now! I know, it has surpassed anyone’s expectations! How do manage to keep your head on your shoulders amidst all of this craziness? I never expected this. My mom always says if my head weren’t attached to my neck I would love it because literally so much is going on that I have no time to think about anything. I just constantly have to be on my toes and do whatever is needed at a moments notice. So how do you manage it all? You are only 15! When do you have time to be the real "Miley?" Not Hannah.. not the stage Miley – but real girl – Miley Cyrus? Usually on my tour bus., right now anyway. I like to hang out with my family and sometimes my good friends get to come along. Does it ever get overwhelming? Sometimes, sure, but I am pretty good about taking breaks. I know when its time to step aside and chill out. What’s the most exciting thing about being on the road? The constant go, go, go! I love it!! I really don’t have a second to think and I think that is so much fun! There is always something to do, I’m being pushed and being challenged and I really enjoy that part of my life. It is truly amazing that some people will pay up to $2500.00 for tickets to see your show! That’s unbelievable! Yes, it is. I was shocked when I heard that one! Is there anyone YOU’D pay $2500.00 to see in concert? To be honest, no. That is a lot of money. I am truly flattered that people want to see me in concert that bad. I mean my show is good, but it’s not that good!! ( laughs) ! Toronto was your ONLY Canadian stop on your tour. You have some pretty amazing and devoted fans here. I wish we could have added more, but Toronto has been so good to me there was no way I wasn’t going to stop here. I think the fans here are amazing. What’s the one thing that your fans would be the most surprised to find out about you that they don’t already know? Something that they’d be surprised to find out about me is that I’m a tomboy! Even though I look all-girlie and act girlie, in reality at home I am such a tomboy. I like to mess around and hang out with my brothers, that is the most fun for me! I know that your parents keep a real good eye on your and try to raise you to be as "normal" as possible. You do something wrong, you get grounded! Yes, that’s true. My mom can be pretty strict some times. I do get grounded, all the time! Did your mom take your phone away once? That’s got to be the worst punishment for a 15-year old girl! I hate it. Yes, she took away my phone, my computer privileges, TV ( although I don’t watch a lot of TV so that one was OK) but mostly the computer and the phone are the first to go! ( laughs) You have a lot of things coming up, but one thing I want to ask you about is your 3-D concert movie coming out in February. Have you seen yourself in 3-D? Actually, I have. I got to see it. Pretty cool! Wow – can you tell me a little bit about what that experience was like? I as so critiquing myself. I was like, ewww… Miley what is going on with your face? I was making all these weird expressions when I was singing. When I hit those high notes I have to open my mouth really wide just to make a sound so when it is in 3-D it looks so ugly! It really isn’t very glamorous to sing because you have to make all these funny faces to make it sound like the record. You really want to sound the best you can so you have to make all these disgusting faces. So when I saw it in 3-D I was like, oh my gosh, if that is what I really look like up close that’s terrible. It was totally freaking me out! Now a "Hannah Montana" movie, is that also on the agenda? Yes, after the tour is done. We are aiming for late next year or 2009.

In December 2007, she was ranked #17 in the list of Forbes Top twenty earners under 25 with an annual earning of US$3.5 million.[5] As of December 2007, she is working on a movie spin-off from Hannah Montana, titled Hannah Montana: The Movie which is due to be released late 2008 or early 2009.[6]

Early life

Cyrus was born in Franklin, Tennessee,[3] the daughter of Leticia "Tish" (née Finley) and country singer Billy Ray Cyrus,[3] and the granddaughter of the late Ron Cyrus. She has two elder half-brothers, Christopher Cody and Trace, the latter being the vocalist and guitarist of an electronic rock band, Metro Station in California.[7] She also has an older half-sister, Brandi, a younger brother, Braison, and a younger sister, Noah, who is also an actress.[8] She was named Destiny Hope because her parents believed that she would accomplish great things.[3] Cyrus gained her nickname "Miley" because she kept smiling ("Smiley") as a youngster.[3]
Cyrus attended Heritage Middle School,[9] and now has a private tutor.[10] She grew up on her parents' farm outside of Nashville.[11]

Career

Cyrus became interested in acting at age nine when the family briefly lived in Toronto, Canada. Her first acting role was as a guest star on her father's television series Doc, in which she played a girl named Kylie.[12][4] In 2003, she played "Young Ruthie" in Tim Burton's Big Fish and was credited as Destiny Cyrus. She was also featured in Rhonda Vincent's music video for "If Heartaches Have Wings", and appeared on Colgate Country Showdown with her father, who was hosting the program.
Cyrus was eleven years old when she originally auditioned for Disney for the lead as well as the "best friend" roles;[13] Disney Channel executives then judged her to be "too small", however Miley was persistent in her desire to be part of the show, so Disney called her back for further auditions when she turned 12. According to Disney Channel Executive Vice President Gary Marsh, Cyrus was chosen for Hannah Montana because of her energetic and lively performance and was seen as a person who "loves every minute of life",[14] with the "everyday relatability of Hilary Duff and the stage presence of Shania Twain".[11] She spent several years to get rid of her Southern accent, but in the end Disney wanted her to revive it. Later in an unusual twist, Cyrus had to audition her own father, Billy Ray Cyrus, to see if he would fit the role as Hannah's dad.[15] Cyrus currently stars in Hannah Montana as the lead character Miley Stewart, whose alter ego is the pop music sensation Hannah Montana. Cyrus also performs in character as Hannah Montana for albums and concerts.
In 2004, Cyrus became a spokesperson for Daisy Rock Guitars, when she was presented with her first Daisy Rock guitar— the Stardust Series Acoustic Electric Pink Sparkle. It was given to her by her parents from her father's Country Music Television fan meet-and-greet when she was twelve years old.[16]
On June 22, 2006, a performance of a Hannah Montana concert (featuring Cyrus as Hannah Montana) at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon in Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida was recorded for the Disney Channel. Cyrus spent the rest of 2006 opening for The Cheetah Girls on 20 dates of their 39-city tour.[17] Cyrus also appeared in the Disney Channel Hannah Montana promotion, "Hannah Montana's Backstage Secrets", in which she portrays Hannah Montana in a fictional interview set in the show's canon.
Walt Disney Records released the Hannah Montana soundtrack on October 24, 2006. The soundtrack included eight of the songs that Cyrus performed as Hannah Montana. Cyrus also signed a four-album major record deal with Hollywood Records for her own albums. On December 25, 2006, Cyrus performed as Hannah Montana at the Walt Disney Christmas Parade, singing her version of the holiday classic "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree".
On June 26, 2007, exactly eight months after the release of the first soundtrack, Cyrus released a double album, Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus. The first disc served as the second Hannah Montana soundtrack, while the second disc was Cyrus's debut album as herself. She co-wrote, eight of the ten songs and was credited as "Destiny Hope Cyrus". Cyrus had a brief cameo in High School Musical 2 credited as "Girl at Pool", where she danced in front of the pool wearing a yellow baby doll top before the end credits.
While attending the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix premiere, Cyrus stated that they are working on ideas for a Hannah Montana movie. The feature-length film is to be produced by Cyrus's both on and off-screen dad, Billy Ray Cyrus.[18]
Disney released a Hannah Montana clothing collection in late summer. Cyrus helped to design some of the pieces from the collection. "It's not a costume. A tween girl isn't doing dress-up, they want to look like they could be Hannah Montana's friend. This is a fashion line."[19]
Cyrus performed both as herself and in character as Hannah Montana on a North American Best of Both Worlds Tour that started on October 18, 2007 in St. Louis, Missouri; the tour was extended, due to high demand, until January 31, 2008, with 69 total dates, 14 more than previously planned. The Jonas Brothers were the opening act for most of the tour.[20] Tour tickets for each date sold out in record time after they have gone on sale, disappointing large numbers of fans.[21]
In 2007, Cyrus guest-starred as Yatta on Disney Channel's The Emperor's New School. In December 2007, she was ranked at #17 in the Forbes Top 20 Earners Under 25, with an annual earning of US$3.5 million.[5]

Cyrus is good friends with fellow Hannah Montana co-stars Emily Osment and Mitchel Musso, often texting and conference calling each other during busy days.[10] Miley Cyrus also taught Emily Osment how to play the guitar and Osment taught Cyrus how to knit. She is also friends with the stars of the highly successful TV movie High School Musical, including Ashley Tisdale,[22] Vanessa Hudgens and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody stars including Brenda Song.[23]In an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show, she stated that she looks up to Hilary Duff as her role model.[22] On January 29, 2008 Miley Cyrus officially changed her name to "Miley Ray Cyrus," her middle name reflecting that of her father's.[24][25]
In an interview with USA Today, Cyrus was quoted as saying her faith is "the main thing" and is the reason why she works in Hollywood.[26] When interviewed by Parade, she added that she attends church regularly with her family.[15] In an interview to Christianity Today, Billy Ray said, "Being Christian, we believe in heaven" and "We also had a great church, and when you give up your church, your pastor, and the community you are involved in, you're making a big sacrifice. Let's face it, Hollywood is a completely different environment than Franklin, Tennessee" [27] She also has many pets, including horses, dogs, cats, fish and chickens.[28]

Controversies

On September 24, 2007, rumors began circulating that Cyrus was pregnant.[29] The cause of the rumor was an image of a page of J-14 Magazine circulating on the Internet entitled "Miley's Meltdown" and saying, among other things, "Miley herself confirmed the pregnancy rumors during a J-14 interview".[30] J-14 immediately responded saying that, "Someone doctored the "This Just In" article that appeared on page 16 of J-14's July 2007 issue" and that "this story is completely fabricated!"[31][32] The real story on J-14's Page 16 magazine was about 'Miley's Gross Habits' told by her co-stars on the set of Hannah Montana.
In January 2008, a video surfaced on YouTube which showed Cyrus perfoming as Hannah Montana on her Best of Both Worlds Tour. The video shows Hannah being ushered off the stage via a trap door and being replaced by another person who is dressed like her. The body-double holds the microphone and performs for the rest of the song.[33] On January 11, 2008, Cyrus's publicist claimed that the video was not fake and confirmed that the body double was actually being used throughout the tour.[33] The public relation firm representing Cyrus stated:

"....a body double appears approximately one to two minutes prior to the end of the song in order to allow Miley to remove the Hannah wig and costume and transform into Miley for her solo set. Other than during this very brief transitional moment in the show, Miley performs live during the entirety of both the Hannah and Miley segments of the concert."[33][34][35]

In her latest movie, Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert, there is a scene where she and her dad don't put their seatbelts on and, was labeled by some newspapers as a "bad role model".[36] Billy Ray Cyrus later apologized for this, and said

"We got caught up in the moment of filming, and we made a mistake and forgot to buckle our seat belts ... Seat belt safety is extremely important."[37]
